Our Women and Girls Resilience Project directly addresses the disproportionate effects of the climate crisis on women and girls, empowering them to build economic resilience and improve their livelihoods. Through tailored savings and investment schemes, the project equips women with financial tools to sustain small businesses, enabling them to generate steady income that not only transforms their lives but also enhances the well-being of their children. In addition, this initiative has empowered communities to establish women-led community gardens and construct protected water wells, providing vital resources and strengthening local capacity to withstand climate impacts. These gardens and wells are essential lifelines, supporting food security, clean water access, and sustainable income opportunities, all led by resilient women shaping the future of their communities.
